The Floating Yogi was a man that evolved into a movement. Jarrick Browner, the CEO, has been practicing yoga and incorporating its philosophy into his life since 2014. He's trained in Ashtanga, Dharma and Power Yoga, as well as Pranayama and Meditation and continues to hold a consistent Ashtanga practice to this day. Healthy Habits and holistic routines have been the cornerstone of his growth and development and those he coaches over the years. With the knowledge gained over years of practice and application, Jarrick realized this undertaking was more then just him and with other healers founded UYWE, Urban Yogic Wellness and Education an 501c3 organization which aims to restructure how we perceive and take care of our health and wellbeing, Unrestricted to just the modality of yoga we provide enhancements to not just physically, but mentally and emotionally aspects of Self as well. Through UYWE, The Floating Yogi hosts The Floating Yogi's Book Club, Mid Day Mind Right, Virtual and In person Classes, Retreats and Private Journeys and so much more.The Floating Yogi helps one to establish of holistic wellness routine cultivating a state of wellbeing within an individual which radiate outward into the world around them.Jarrick’s kind, gentle and knowledgeable manner creates a safe and playful space to flow through your SIFT's, incorporating the lessons learned on the mat, in daily life.

Jeselene Andrade E-RYT 200, RYT 300, BA, MPH 

Jeselene’s yoga journey began in India while working in villages with women to promote maternal health. The physical practice was introduced to her by her host mother who practiced every morning and invited her to join. During the 4 months in India, her relationship with yoga began to flourish and once she returned to the states the practice took off. While practicing with Jeselene you can expect to have an open and grounded practice that will allow the mind to become more in tune with the physical body leaving it feeling clear and aware. Through the session, the focus will be placed on maintaining a stable energy throughout the flow and keeping a consistent rhythm of breath that will assist with identifying the areas of discomfort in the practice and everyday life. Jeselene has a special interest in making the practice accessible to all levels and bodies, as well as expecting mothers.  Jeselene’s sessions pick from various styles of yoga that include Ashtanga, Dharma, and Yin. She is a 500hr RYT from Roots Love Yoga School Lead by Marie Belle Perez Rivera, along with other workshop training in topic such as anatomy, functional medicine, Ashtanga yoga and pre and post- natal. Jeselene practices Mysore daily Faith Scimecca, Jarrick Browner and Marie Belle Perez. She a mother to a beautiful baby girl, and also holds a BA in Community Health & Biology and a Masters in Public Health

Holistic Massage Therapist

LMT Tarica Danielle, Owner and Holistic Wellness Facilitator of Manifest Station LLC began her wellness journey and career in 2012. She attended National Massage Therapy Institute in Falls Church Virginia where she was certified after a series of studies spent in Anatomy and Physiology, Kinesiology, Pathology, Business and Professional Ethics, Massage Theory and Massage Technique. After attaining her Massage therapy license she received her first job as a massage therapist in Vienna Va. In 2013 Tarica was trained by corporate as a lead therapist at Massage Heights in Alexandria Virginia.In 2015 Tarica became licensed in Washington DC where she gathered expert knowledge and experience at 5 Star spa facilities, such as Unwind Wellness Center, Paris Alexander and Aura Spa. Tarica also continued her studies and development in 2016 at the Thai Massage School of Shivagakomarpaj and The Old Medicine Hospital to study Level 1 & 2 Thai Massage in Chiang Mai Thailand, along side with several other certifications and training in specific healing services such as Hot Balsalt Stones, CBD Massage, Dry Brush Lymphatic Drainage Techniques, Herbal Hydrotherapy, Scrapping and many more to advance and enhance her technique. Tarica has also created and trademarked her own signature holistic healing services being The Detox Massage™ & The Intuitive Combination Massage™.Tarica Danielle is passionate and dedicated to furthering her knowledge in her craft as she travels around the world to different destinations to experience cultural & indigenous healing modalities to incorporate in her practice.

    On the other side of the room is the compact kitchen area which includes two electric hobs, small fridge, toaster, kettle, sinks, pans, and crockery.
    The kitchen in Firefly is more basic than in our other accommodations. It does not have an oven and is designed for preparing simple meals

    Located outside the front door is the garden terrace with ocean views, furnished with two beach chairs

I understand that Urban Yogic Wellness and Education assumes no liability for any illnesses or injuries which I may sustain as a result of participating in yoga activities including but not limited to the use of any yoga equipment (props) or the performance of any particular exercise or series of exercises or any related activities. I expressly acknowledge on behalf of myself and my heirs that I assume the risk of any and all injuries or illnesses which may occur as a result of participating in these activities. I also understand that my yoga sessions are non-refundable if I choose not to continue to take class, workshop, through Urban Yogic Wellness and Education. Urban Yogic Wellness and Education is responsible for providing replacement instructors in the advent of termination or absence. I hereby release and discharge Urban Yogic Wellness and Education and all of its employees, agents, servants, representatives, and principals from any and all claims of injury, illness, death, loss, or damage which I may sustain as a result of participating in the above activities. I further acknowledge that Urban Yogic Wellness and Education is not responsible for any personal items lost or stolen while I am participating in activities at Urban Yogic Wellness and Education. I hereby acknowledge and agree with the waivers set forth above.
